Hi, thank you for your comment on the crochet hooks... my best advice for someone wanting to learn crochet is to watch Youtube videos and actually see someone crocheting and then eventually join in. I think Attic24 is a great blog for step by step projects and learning how to make a granny square would be a good place to start. I started by using acrylic yarn as it is inexpensive and didn't matter if I made a lot of mistakes that ended up in the bin. I learnt crochet in about a week by watching Youtube videos repeatedly, so it can be done! Good luck with your crochet journey x
